L'efficacit\u00e9 de ces efforts d\u00e9pend de la capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 retenir, partager et appliquer les connaissances dans les processus de prise de d\u00e9cision.<br><br>La performance institutionnelle repose sur des syst\u00e8mes de connaissances solides qui relient les donn\u00e9es probantes \u00e0 l'action.<br><br>\u00c0 l\u2019ACBF, nous renfor\u00e7ons la capacit\u00e9 de l\u2019Afrique \u00e0 g\u00e9n\u00e9rer, g\u00e9rer et appliquer les connaissances au profit de la conception des politiques et de l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 institutionnelle.<br><br>Notre travail contribue directement \u00e0 l\u2019Agenda 2063 et aux Objectifs de d\u00e9veloppement durable en faisant progresser le d\u00e9veloppement ax\u00e9 sur la connaissance et en renfor\u00e7ant l\u2019\u00e9laboration de politiques fond\u00e9es sur des donn\u00e9es probantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">L\u00e0 o\u00f9 r\u00e9side le v\u00e9ritable d\u00e9fi<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Les syst\u00e8mes de connaissances \u00e0 travers l\u2019Afrique sont confront\u00e9s \u00e0 des contraintes structurelles et de capacit\u00e9s qui limitent leur influence.<br><br>De nombreuses institutions de recherche sur les politiques sont confront\u00e9es \u00e0 des d\u00e9fis pour traduire la recherche en engagement politique. Limited use of evidence weakens policy design and reduces implementation effectiveness. Fragmented knowledge systems limit institutional learning and reduce the impact of research and analysis.<br><br>Ces d\u00e9fis n\u00e9cessitent des efforts coordonn\u00e9s pour renforcer les syst\u00e8mes de connaissances et am\u00e9liorer l\u2019utilisation des donn\u00e9es probantes dans la prise de d\u00e9cision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-border-botton-green\">What We Do Differently<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>ACBF strengthens knowledge systems through targeted capacity development,<br>institutional support, and knowledge platforms.<br>We focus on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Strengthening institutional capacity to produce policy-relevant research<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supporting the management, curation, and sharing of knowledge across institutions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enhancing collaboration among policymakers, researchers, and practitioners<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promoting the application of evidence in policy design and implementation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This approach strengthens institutional learning, improves policy outcomes, and supports more effective governance systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-border-botton-green\">How We Work: A Systems Active Approach<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>ACBF delivers knowledge management through integrated platforms and initiatives that strengthen institutional capacity and knowledge ecosystems.<br>Key initiatives include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Africa Think Tank Platform, which strengthens the capacity of think tanks to produce high-quality research and engage effectively with policymakers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The African Capacity Knowledge Repository and Community Hub, which provides a shared digital platform for knowledge access, collaboration, and institutional learning.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Flagship publications and knowledge products that translate research into actionable insights for policymakers and practitioners<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>High-level convening and policy dialogue platforms, including the Africa Think Tank Summit and regional engagements, which connect evidence with decision-making.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These initiatives strengthen knowledge systems, promote collaboration, and improve the use of evidence across institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-border-botton-green\">Impact in Numbers<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Across Africa, the program is delivering measurable results:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>350 participants convened annually<\/strong> through the Africa Think Tank Summit across more than 30 African countries<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>3 flagship knowledge products developed and disseminated<\/strong>, including the Africa Export Competitiveness Report and the Strategic Study on Factoring in Africa<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>50 policy and knowledge briefs produced<\/strong> on key development issues, including AfCFTA, taxation, illicit financial flows, SME finance, and inclusive growth<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>2 practical tools developed<\/strong> to support SME finance and access to working capital solutions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>6 institutions supported<\/strong> to strengthen and institutionalize knowledge management frameworks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-border-botton-green\">Country-level impact includes:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Benin, Ethiopia, Republic of Congo, Kenya<\/strong>, and <strong>Rwanda<\/strong>: knowledge management systems strengthened through institutions including <strong>HESPI, ACED, CERAPE, ICCASA, the Science for Africa Foundation, and AiBST<\/strong> to improve institutional learning and policy engagement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond institutional support, ACBF is also investing in system-wide enablers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Continental platforms such as the <strong>Africa Think Tank Platform<\/strong> and <strong>Capacity Knowledge Hub<\/strong> strengthen collaboration, expand access to evidence, and improve knowledge use across institutions.
