{"id":3705,"date":"2026-04-21T08:59:28","date_gmt":"2026-04-21T06:59:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theacbf.org\/?post_type=the_vacancies&#038;p=3705"},"modified":"2026-04-21T08:59:29","modified_gmt":"2026-04-21T06:59:29","slug":"internship-opportunities","status":"publish","type":"the_vacancies","link":"https:\/\/theacbf.org\/fr\/the_vacancies\/internship-opportunities\/","title":{"rendered":"Internship Opportunities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ACBF has internship opportunities in Harare-Zimbabwe, Accra-Ghana and Nairobi-Kenya for recent graduates to join the Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The internship offers opportunities to:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Work with a major international institution driving Africa\u2019s capacity development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate and gain a deeper understanding of ACBF\u2019s work in Africa.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work collaboratively with experienced professionals in a multicultural environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop the individual\u2019s career path with practical work experience as they contribute to ACBF\u2019s work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-border-botton-green\">Selection Criteria (required skills and knowledge)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Selection will be on a competitive basis, and the following minimum qualifications and competencies are required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interested candidates must have a Bachelors\u2019 degree or an advanced degree in a wide range of fields, such as Business Administration, Communication, Finance, Economics, Library and Information Science, Human Resources, Procurement, International Development, Marketing, Public Administration, Records Management, or any related Social-Sciences field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ability to work independently under minimum supervision and be accountable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fluency in at least one of the Foundation\u2019s working languages (English or French).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent writing, research, critical thinking, and analytical skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent interactive and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent computer skills (MS applications)Demonstrated mastery of subject matter.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Efficient in meeting commitments, deadlines and achieving results<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good communication skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Foundation will provide the interns with a monthly stipend.
