Tanzania Global Development Learning Centre (TGDLC) is a capacity building sub-component under the President’s Office Public Service Management and a member of the Global Development Learning Network (GDLN). At its 41st Regular Meeting, in September 2009, the ACBF Executive Board approved a Grant of USD 500,000 in support to the Tanzania Knowledge Network for Research and Policy Development (TZ CLK NET). The network was hosted by the Tanzania Global Development Learning Centre (TGDLC), located in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
In addition to peer learning and information/knowledge sharing, the overall goal of TZ-CLK-NET was to promote broad based involvement and participation in national debates on key issues of national concern, including the formulation, implementation, and review of development policies and programs, via a consultative process.
