In 2009 the CEEG submitted a request to the ACBF for funding support to undertake policy research analysis to complement and therefore improve the ability of key government policy institutions, private sector and civil society organizations to contribute toward the achievement of Mozambique’s development priorities. ACBF approved a grant for US$2.2 million for this initiative.
The specific objectives of the project were to: (i) strengthen the capacity of CEEG to support macroeconomic and sector policy formulation and analysis in Mozambique, and (ii) Enhance the research and advocacy capabilities of CEEG stakeholders
