On 5 and 6 May 2025, ACBF and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) convened a high-level policy dialogue in Accra, Ghana, focused on advancing public administration reforms and policy coherence for more inclusive, effective, digital, and green governance.

The event brought together 26 participants (Head of Public sectors reforms) of different African, MENA and OECD countries namely Cameroun, Cote d’Ivoire, Czechia, Gambia, Ghana, Italy, Kenya, Morrocco, Senegal, Zimbabwe to exchange insights, share best practices, and strengthen approaches to modernizing public administration and fostering policy coherence.
Participants engaged in peer exchanges, case studies, and breakout sessions that explored interministerial coordination, whole-of-government reforms, climate-responsive public administration, and digital transformation strategies. The dialogue also examined tools for monitoring policy coherence, collaborative planning, and service delivery models that place citizens at the center.
Key outcomes included commitments to strengthen policy planning capacities, adopt more agile institutional structures, and promote South–South cooperation for reform implementation. The event underscored the value of mutual learning and co-creation between Africa and international partners.
